The first was light blue--way too dark for a small space. now we have a cream/gold/red combo and its much better.

here's some photos: http://www.theologian.orgKindle Fire Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00485716998568671329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6212550248931823866.post-15973980331333784062008-12-20T10:12:00.000-05:002008-12-20T10:12:00.000-05:00The church is looking beautiful. (This is if they really bother you).

You might have to do a little work up their to make it look presentable to the eye, which may not be worth your money. However, if your going to be in your space for several more years it might be worth the money.

M.MichelleMatushkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08096912796648690694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6212550248931823866.post-18396037663061325532008-12-20T10:04:00.000-05:002008-12-20T10:04:00.000-05:00M. The church in N.J. is large on the inside and it will close in the walls of your church and be very, very blue.

Talk with the man who is doing the painting in your church now. He will have some excellent suggestions as this is all part of a whole-including the walls. We painted our walls a color of yellow/gold that is used in churches and it looks so wonderful. Our church is small and it keeps an open feel. Also, yellow with a touch of gold looks so great with icons and would look great with the marbled walls.

I can't wait to see the church finished and decorated!

M.MichelleMatushkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08096912796648690694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6212550248931823866.post-11552237531178574062008-12-20T10:01:00.000-05:002008-12-20T10:01:00.000-05:00I hadn't thought of that, Meredith! We've had a terrible time with it already because it muffles my husband's voice when he is in the altar and the choir (which admittedly could use a little muffling;)) has to sing louder for people in the back to hear... surprising, because the space isn't that large.MamaBirdEmmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08953172914077823820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6212550248931823866.post-22586898136578772892008-12-20T09:45:00.000-05:002008-12-20T09:45:00.000-05:00Ordinarily I would agree with you--that shade woul...Ordinarily I would agree with you--that shade would look gorgeous against the gold--but I'm afraid that it will draw attention to the drop ceiling. As it stands, the wall and ceiling seem to blur together, making the room look taller and less office-like.

either way, I'm amazed at what you have done to the space.
