A neat thing that has been happening since I set up our Learning Basket themes is that activities have been sprouting up just at the right time.
Who knew that a pretty watermelon colored dress would be on sale and needed to replace a horribly stained one?
Who knew that the National Watermelon Queen and the Local Watermelon Queen would be handing out watermelon and stickers at Harris Teeter yesterday?

ReplyDeleteThe Watermelon Queens are beauty Queens. I think that they are crowned at watermelon festivals and then try to teach others about the economic and health benefits of watermelons.
