We chose to celebrate my namesday on Saturday rather than Friday and had a great time! I used some fancy candles I found for my cake (which Fr John graciously picked out from Harris Teeter's) and received a gorgeous hydrangea plant! It was a great day!
Many Years! A Happy Mother's Day to you as well!

ReplyDeleteHappy Namesday! I love celebrating Namesdays. We're going to have a busy May next year, though, because in addition to my *any-day-to-be-born* son's birthday, both my kids' namesdays are in May! And all the celebrations for the Blessed Mother--and Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you, Emma! And, btw, those cakes look absolutely scrumptious! Well, done, Fr. John.
