The Baby Dances is one of my favorite storybooks, tracing the first year of a baby girl in the company of her big brother until she takes her first steps into his arms. Absolutely precious.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you of another book for big siblings- Do You Know What I'll Do? by Charlotte Zolotow, with illustrations by Garth Williams.
It is the best book I have ever found for the youngest child in your family who is about to become a "bigger". The best! I wrote about it here on my blog.
