Wouldn't a net tent like this be wonderful as a reading nook? I am thinking about trying to construct something similar for our new house... it would probably go in the family room. I think that I will like using it more than Little Bear will!
That picture is SO ADORABLE!! A bunch of little girls just being little girls! I love it.
Putting that tent over the table is such a clever idea for a little girls' party. I bet it would work if I did that over our dining room chandelier. Those little creative touches add so much!
Your reading nook sounds like a fun idea. I think that it will make reading seem more appealing and exciting at the age when you want your daughter to start getting really excited about it.
I am going to write this idea down in my notebook! Thanks for sharing.
So lovely! Secretly, I actually don't mind mosquito season up here because I get to drape my bed in a billowy white mosquito net which actually can look quite romantic in certain lights...:)
Love that idea...with a nice overstuffed chair. Ahh...heaven! DS likes to sit in our rocking chair and (carefully) rock. I hope soon we can add a book that won't be immediately chewed and destroyed.
I'll bet it wouldn't be too difficult to construct a tent similar to this one using a mosquito net. ABC Distributing Company used to sell nets for about $5. You can order via catalogue or internet.
